Venue and Lodging
PVRW 2024 will be held at the Sheraton Denver West Hotel, 360 Union Boulevard, Lakewood CO 80228.
The room block rate per night for one person or two people is $134.00, not including taxes. This is less than the GSA lodging per diem for Denver metro in February, which is $165.00. The cut-off date for reserving rooms in the room block at this price is 12 February 2024.
Make sure you request the NREL PV Reliability Workshop room block when you reserve your room. For general information on the venue and to book your room, visit the hotel website.
Workshop Check-In
Workshop check-in is at the workshop site. Check-in will open at 07:00 Tuesday, in front of the Lakewood Ballroom in the Denver West Sheraton. You may check in any time between 07:00 and 16:00 any day of the workshop. You must check in before you attend sessions or meals.
Buffet breakfast, lunch, and coffee breaks are provided each day in the foyer in front of the Lakewood ballroom. Times are listed in the program.
Travel from Denver International Airport
Denver's public transit operator is RTD. It operates light rail from the airport to Union Station costs $10.50 (for an airport day pass allowing unlimited rides) and takes about 40 minutes.
Take the A Line from the airport to Union Station (that’s the end of the line) and then transfer to the W Line. To access the W line, follow the signs to Chestnut Pavilion, walking northwest on 17th Street. Take the W Line from Union Station to Federal Center Station. This portion of the trip takes approximately 40 minutes. From Federal Center Station, you can easily walk to the Sheraton Denver West Hotel (360 Union Blvd, Lakewood, CO 80228).
An Uber or Lyft costs approximately $55 from the airport to the hotel.
Ski Day
There will be a PVRW Ski Day on Friday, March 1 at Loveland Ski Area. If you are interested, please purchase a ski ticket when you register for PVRW. We have limited discounted lift tickets for $67. These are first come first serve based on received payment.
If all tickets have already been claimed, you will no longer see an option to purchase them when you register. However, you can still buy a full price lift ticket for $119 at the ski area and will be included in the coordination emails.
